Ms. Sherman joined Brandywine Trust Company in 2005, was promoted to Compliance Officer in December of that year, and to Chief Compliance Officer in December of 2016. In December of 2021, she was named Chief Operating and Compliance Officer of the firm and as of December 31, 2025, the President of the firm.
Previously, Ms. Sherman was employed by MBNA America as a Risk Management Officer. She received her certification as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager in 2003 and as an Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional in 2013.
Ms. Sherman earned her J.D. from Dickinson School of Law and her B.A. in Philosophy from Allegheny College. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland.
